Booking – Portrait Sessions

For all portrait sessions; a non-fundable session retainer is required to book and hold the date for your session and serves as a cancellation fee. However, the fee can be credited towards a future session upon the PHOTOGRAPHER’S approval. All remaining balances are due no later than 48hrs before the time of the session.

Booking – Weddings/Events

A non-fundable retainer fee is due at the time of signing of the agreement. The remaining balance is payable as described in the agreed payment plan and must be PAID IN FULL 30 days prior to the day of the EVENT. In the event the CLIENT fails to remit payment as specified, the PHOTOGRAPHER shall have the right to immediately terminate this agreement with no further obligation, retain any/all monies already paid, and not attend the EVENT.


Cash, checks or credit cards will be accepted as forms of payment. Returned checks will be assessed a $40.00 non-sufficient funds fee. Credit chargebacks will result in the PHOTOGRAPHER starting legal proceedings against the CLIENT to collect all money due including the added cost to recoup all added fees associated with collections. PHOTOGRAPHER holds the right to report chargebacks as a crime in the event of services, digital products and/or tangible goods have been provided to the CLIENT.

Cancellation – Portrait Sessions

If CLIENT requests to amend agreement or reschedule session two (2) or more calendar days before the agreed upon photographic event date, the retainer SHALL be applied to a mutually agreed upon reschedule date. If CLIENT cancels less than two (2) calendar days before or fails to show the agreed upon photographic event date, the retainer shall be forfeited.
In the event of any unforeseen incident that prevents PHOTOGRAPHER from shooting the scheduled session, the CLIENT will be eligible for a refund minus all permits, services, and/or products already provided.

Cancellation – Weddings/Events

PHOTOGRAPHER shall reserve the date and time agreed upon, and not make any other reservations or accept any other clients for said date and time. For this reason, in the event that the CLIENT cancels the contract for any reason, all monies paid shall be retained by PHOTOGRAPHER in order to offset its loss of business, and costs of all services/products already provided.

  • In the unlikely event that the assigned PHOTOGRAPHER is unable to perform to the guidelines of this contract due to an injury, illness, act of God, act of terrorism, or other cause beyond the control of the PHOTOGRAPHER, the PHOTOGRAPHER will make every effort to secure a replacement. If the situation should occur and a suitable replacement is not found, responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the EVENT minus the costs of all services/products already provided.
  • In the unlikely event that digital files have been lost, stolen, or destroyed for reasons beyond the PHOTOGRAPHER ’s control, including but not limited to camera, hard drive, or equipment malfunction or theft, the PHOTOGRAPHER’s liability is limited to the return of payments received for the EVENT minus the costs of all services/products already provided before the EVENT.
  • The PHOTOGRAPHER is not liable for the loss of images beyond the final delivery of all digital products included in the package.
  • Liability shall be limited to the cost of the actual service and or product which was paid for but undeliverable.

Product Policies

  • Due to the custom nature of photography and the products it provides, ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
  • All prints and products are subject to your state sales tax and shipping fees when applicable.
  • All payments are due BEFORE any order will be placed with my professional labs.
  • Once payment is cleared:
    • Prints take up to 2 weeks for delivery.
    • Custom framing, albums and large specialty items may take 4-8 weeks for delivery.
    • Press printed, custom cards, announcements, Save the Dates may take up to 4 weeks for delivery.
    • Depending on the time of year and actual products being ordered production times can be affected. Please keep this in mind when ordering around the holidays so book early and get your order in promptly to ensure availability.
  • Rush processing is available and will be billed at the lab’s current rates.


  • Due to the custom nature of photography and the products it provides, ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
  • CLIENT must make careful selections noting image name, size, etc., accidentally ordering wrong image or quantity is not entitled to a refund.
  • CLIENT is responsible for proof checking all custom work for grammar & misspellings. Once the CLIENT approves a design to be sent to print and reprints will be at the CLIENT’S expense.
  • In the event of damage during shipping I must be notified with 24hrs of receiving the product.
    • CLIENT must also file a claim with the shipping carrier
    • Damaged product must be returned
  • In the event the lab sends the wrong size, damaged product I must be notified with 24hrs of receiving the product and the product must be returned.
  • NO guarantees of any kind for digital images.
    • Once CLIENT receives the digital images sale is final and it becomes CLIENT’S responsibility to backup these images. PHOTOGRAPHER will NOT keep backups of any images past 1 month from last sale.
    • PHOTOGRAPHER does NOT guarantee prints from any printer and accepts no liability or responsibility for images once you take possession of the digital images. This is including but not limited to poor color, saturation, contrast, lost highlight/shadow details and poorly cropped images.

Changes to Policies

We reserve to right to change these policies at any time. The CLIENT & PHOTOGRAPHER’s contract will always state the policies in place for each individual CLIENT which will prevail over this list when necessary.
